Silent Auction Raises $2500 for Breast Cancer Society

Leon’s donated services, along with East Side Market in Providence to a silent auction where the proceeds benefited the Breast Cancer Society. We raised about $2500 with 2 bidders wanting to win the package.

On September 9th, we plated dinner for 10 guests (3 course plated, plus stationed hors d’oeuvres).

Course 1:
Mixed baby greens (arugula, spinach, beet greens) salad w/ roasted beets, sliced pears, rolled goat cheese, candied pecans, citrus honey dressing

Course 2:
Porcini-basil risotto, Kona rubbed tenderloin, butter poached shrimp, roasted asparagus & red peppers, chive oil

Course 3:
Grape galette with house made ginger ice cream, mini chocolate crème brulee, and fresh berries
